This article will cover the basics of what you need to do if you are planning a 8port swap when you had a 4port motor in... Why do we want to cover this when the 4port is "preferred" motor. Well 17 years down the line, many 4ports had better days replacing the motor you can either go SR/RB a totally different story on its own or you can stick with the CA18 and just replace it with an import motor, which will be an 8port. |

 Here are some basic tips for the casual driver of this car. These are based on my own learning experiences and may or may not be considered good driving technique by more advanced drivers. Please read my disclaimer before attempting any of the techniques described. Note that I am not an advanced driver, and have not been on any advanced driving courses.  Whether you are a mechanic or not, it's quite useful to have access to the parts database of the car, as well as the service manual. You can learn a lot from these, and you can even estimate the cost of any repairs you may need to have done to your car, before you get a quote.
