Club members from Johannesburg and possibly Cape Town are planning to do a road trip to Durban, in order to attend the FIA GT World Championship race. This is the first time such a race comes to South Africa, and assuming it goes ahead as planned, will make for an incredible spectacle for motoring enthusiasts.

UPDATE: The FIA GT race in Durban has been postponed till next year, so the road trip has been cancelled.

28 November 2009 marks a great day in our club. We will be doing a run to lovers rock magaliesburg where we will have our year end function. We invited 2 other clubs to join us, namely import knights and the scooby club. We will try and attempt a 100 car convoy. The owner of lovers rock has agreed to let the driver and his car in for free, all other passengers in the car has a R50 cover charge which will allow you to use all the venue attractions like water slides, putt-putt, braai spots etc. For more details on this epic event, please see the forum post here: http://200sx.za.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4670 |
